Corporate Banking is a technology centric business and is focused on offering Payment solutions to satisfy an ever-increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems with access to supporting data for real time processing.

Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 Engineers (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that we support within Corporate Bank are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through ‘vertical’ CIO aligned teams and by ‘horizontals’ such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

What you’ll do

As a Delivery Lead in the Cash Management team, you will play a key role in leading initiative to simplify the end-to-end payment flow for clients to improve user experience, reduce large footprints and increase ability to scale using cloud native solutions.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional results through close partnership with business and enablement functions (operations, technology, compliance) located globally in managing complex changes across technology, operational processing and regulatory landscape while serving the clients.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineering leads, Architect and operations to define, scope and drive the evolution of payment initiation, orchestration and processing capabilities

  • Be responsible for building and driving large-scale transformation changes end-to-end and be directly responsible for marshaling the cross-functional support and resources needed to accomplish your goals

  • Manage directly (or coordinate) the change management activities encompassing product scope, resourcing, stakeholder engagement, communication plan and delivery roadmap

  • Seamlessly prioritize among various projects and synthesize data to guide/support strategy and decision

  • Develop, implement, and iterate on delivery techniques and KPIs to achieve goals with well-defined success criteria.

  • Elevate the execution muscle of engineering teams around you. Train them to be better at delivery where needed.

  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across levels and functions

  • Help influence peers / stakeholders and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.

  • Leverage data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level.

  • Create widely circulated plans, driving consistency, clarity and building alignment across teams.

  • Track and report progress against timelines and scope on internal projects and customer deliverables.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of working experience in software analysis, product/program management or delivery management experience in the Financial Services industry.

  • Proven experience in leading large scale IT delivery projects covering implementation and delivery of multiple applications from scratch and working across cross functional teams and managing senior stakeholders across geographic locations. 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of managing large scale regional transformation projects in either Corporate Banking or Investment Banking environment.

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

  • Proactive mindset with a high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities

  • Ability to transition from strategy, high level to detailed and willingness to own activities as “individual contributor”

  • Has worked with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders in Asia Pacific.

  • Able to demonstrate improvements to internal and external process across multiple teams and functions

  • Experience operating autonomously and rapidly and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones.
