We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who has a track record of owning the entire data stack at high transaction volume SaaS companies. As the primary owner for finance data models, you will work closely with key stakeholders in Finance and other business teams to scope finance data roadmap, and build out the data assets that make it 10x easier and faster to perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. You’ll be the subject matter expert in all financial and transactional data, supporting our next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do

Build the best finance data foundation from scratch (well not exactly from nothing, but early stage enough). That includes but is not limited to:

• Understand the data needs of the Finance team, including ARR reporting, Revenue, Infrastructure, Strategic Finance and translate these needs into technical requirements.
• Design and build SaaS finance data models that are accurate, robust, and scalable for analysis, modeling and reporting.
• Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to establish the best practices on leveraging finance data effectively across the company.
• Support the development of data assets and tools to facilitate self-service across the company.
• Work with Fivetran, BigQuery, dbt, and Hex.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering at a fast-growing company.
• Strong Proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Prior experience serving primary stakeholders such as FP&A, Strategic Finance or Revenue Operations.
• Prior experience with high transaction volume SaaS companies.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Curiosity, savviness to navigate in a dynamic environment, and a growth mindset.

The base salary range for this role is $130,000- $200,000/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and may vary from the amount above.
