Job Description

Do you have experience writing software in Java and Python?  We’re looking for a dedicated software engineer to join our team.  The role includes contributing to software releases for an existing Software Defined Radio in Java and a GUI interface written in Python as well as the opportunity to support and interact with the systems’ users while providing 24x7 support for the live systems.  If you’re comfortable picking up the phone and talking to program partners, and debugging in real-time, we’d love to talk to you about your experience!  Come join our team of experienced engineers!

Job Responsibilities
⦁    Maintain a web-based RESTful Python application
⦁    Contribute to future releases of a Java code base for a Software Defined Radio
⦁    Collaborate closely with the program subject matter expert and engineering lead.
⦁    Connect with users of our system through customer meetings or debugging support over the phone
⦁    Expand the functionality of the existing toolset through new feature development and bug fixes
⦁    Grow into a rotational responsibility for 24x7 support for the live system (infrequent off hours calls)
⦁    Engage with the customer for feedback and input on technical direction
