Your role in our team

  • You will provide suggestions for design improvements or changes during all phases of machine design
  • You will review and validate machine electrical schematics
  • You will assist with electrical panel assembly and wiring
  • You will debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
  • You will review the operating manuals prepared by the technical writer
  • You will assist with developing programs to control machines using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software
  • You will design HMIs for machine control using Allen Bradley FTView Studio ME software
  • You will improve and debug custom software solutions written in Python

Your profile

  • You have completed sophomore classes and enrolled in an Electrical or Computer engineering program
  • You have familiarity with a variety of programming languages a plus (Python, C++, C#, VB)
  • You are able to work full time during the summer and at least 12 hours/week during the school year
