BGS is seeking F-15E Simulator Technician II to support the local Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) effort for the eight F-15E Integrated Aircrew Trainers (IAT) at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. The F-15E is a constantly evolving and strategically vital component of the USAF Strike Capabilities. The IATs are where aircrews get their first introduction to the formidable legacy and combat potentiality of the F-15E Strike Eagle.
The Simulator Technicians will be responsible for operating and maintaining the IATs to support daily Air Force Aircrew training. Applying an analytical approach to solving complex hardware and software discrepancies, the four-member team will maintain the IATs at a 95% availability metric. Technicians will interpret real world cockpit operations of the F-15E in a simulated environment and apply that intricate cockpit knowledge into the architectural engineering design of the IAT to address and remedy system malfunctions.
