Alarm.com, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company is seeking a Training Operations Specialist to join the Alarm.com Training Team.  The Training Team is responsible for providing training, internally and externally on all Alarm.com products & services. This role is specifically focused on supporting the External Partner Education team operations. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and excels in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform logistics coordination for all Academy training events. This includes event registration, packing, material ordering, shipping and receiving,  and light reporting.
  • Collaborate with Academy team on managing the training calendar.
  • Coordinate with vendors and team for all promotional items for training events. Track all items and coordinate storage and shipping.
  • Organization, and maintenance of course materials within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Assist with management of training inbox and partner communications
  • Assist with training equipment & materials (ordering, technology kit updates, and storage)
  • Manage and operationalize invoices, POs and filing system
  • Order & inventory of giveaways and training materials
  • Assist with operational tasks such as CEU support, light training reporting, survey collection and consolidation, content updates, etc
  • Ad hoc training team events coordination
  • Assist with expense tracking and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in coordination
  • Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Interested in training and development
  • Strong in Microsoft office – Word, PPT, and Excel
  • Familiarity with working with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Software industry a plus
  • Must be able to lift/move at least 20 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time during training courses
