Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Planning Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency. Additionally, the engineer will oversee production planning across multiple manufacturing departments and ensure seamless communication between teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse production data and develop KPIs to measure efficiency and performance.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements in manufacturing operations.
- Design, test, and implement process enhancements to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Maintain and organize documentation related to manufacturing processes and improvements.
- Improve communication and coordination between different departments to streamline operations.
- Manage production planning to ensure optimal resource utilization across various manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and KPI development.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation, CAD software, or process simulation tools.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing environment is desirable.
