What you’ll do
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Insight (BI) Analyst to join our Commercial Excellence team. By applying your knowledge of data, you will help to redefine our industry and ultimately save lives. Work with experts who share a common goal: to accelerate the potential of medicines and the science of tomorrow.
Our commercial excellence team establishes simple, clear systems/processes and provides timely and insightful analysis using a range of data sources to support the current and future portfolio of the Company. As a BI Analyst you will support the BI Manager in delivering business objectives. You will perform analyses of sales and competitor market data, utilising complex statistical methods to draw conclusions. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and will seek to understand stakeholder requirements, uncover their needs and provide actionable insights.
You will have expertise in handling large sets of data sources and will utilise your strong analytical skills to access, clean and transform data into meaningful insights and create business models to enable decision making with a broad base of end users. You will exercise considerable latitude in approach and analysis, apply hypotheses driven approach to problem solving and contribute to the development or revision of market strategies. You will support the development of robust forecasts working cross functionally to develop solid assumptions, with specific emphasis on long range planning.
This is a full-time permanent role based at our office in North Ryde.
Essential for the role
Degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving, numeric, analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with business modelling
Experience in cross functional business partnering and managing multiple stakeholders
Previous Experience > 1 year in business analytics
Desirable for the role
Experience in FP&A
Experience in Power BI
Experience in Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals
