Overview:
Our client, a leading financial company, is seeking a talented and experienced UI Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on building out a new platform to support a SaaS production framework. The goal is to create a repeatable way of building a product that will be marketed and sold by the client—a factory for building software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a new team of engineers to scale the built-out product for internal clients and prepare for broader scaling.
- Utilize React with state management to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions.
- Implement standard web page building practices and contribute to the reusable component library.
- Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a UI Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with state management in React.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with large-scale API platforms and understanding of best practices in API management.
