Summary:

The Finisher is responsible for preparing and expediting manufactured products for shipping with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This role ensures that orders are processed and shipped most efficiently and economically while meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Product Processing & Quality Control

• Reroll, slit, and package labels according to order specifications and job standards.
• Verify order details, including roll counts, copy direction, and special instructions.
• Ensure all packaging meets necessary shipping regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.

✅ Shipping & Logistics

• Prioritize and process orders efficiently to meet scheduling and expedited delivery (E.S.D.) needs.
• Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when supplies run low.

✅ Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

• Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as needed to support production and shipping operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or finishing role preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Math & Computer Skills:
  • Ability to work with basic math functions (addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages).
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and manufacturing software is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands frequently.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
