About the Position

What We are Looking for:

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, as well as the SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Accounting Operations Coordinator helps the business to reconcile transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers together with other key accounts. To efficiently measure and manage the transactions received to the company by their customers. 

Location: This is an in-office role in the Dallas, TX area.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions
• General ledger reconciliations
• Account reconciliations such as bank, inventory control, clearing, billings etc.
• Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data
• Supporting the month end process and generating month end reports
• Evaluating and automating the EOD reporting
• Coaching and training retail staff on best practices for audit process and reporting
• Will work directly with office managers and oversee their work on a daily basis
• Ensure compliance of regulatory guidelines and generally accepted reporting standards

Position Qualifications:

• High school degree required
• Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records
• Ability to identify errors
• High level of attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages
• Manage operations accounting for several million dollars
• Post payments to carriers which directly impacts our ability to sell insurance
