About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse Manager to join our team in Weimar, TX. In this role, you will oversee all inventory control operations and warehouse processes—from material receipt through shipment—to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. You’ll partner closely with production managers and planners to support on-time delivery of customer orders and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee material handling: receiving, storage, counting, and shipping.
Stage and manage materials to ensure uninterrupted shop productivity.
Use lean practices to meet or exceed inventory turnover and budget targets.
Analyze inventory data to minimize overstock and eliminate expired material (FIFO).
Develop and execute plans for disposition of slow or obsolete materials.
Manage departmental budget and control costs for supplies and operations.
Supervise a team of salaried and hourly employees—providing training, coaching, and feedback.
Ensure compliance with QA procedures for inspection and defective material resolution.
Lead the annual physical inventory and routine cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
Oversee shipping and logistics to maintain on-time delivery performance.
Assist with truck unloading, merchandise check-in, and inventory documentation.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to read and interpret drawings, bills of materials, part dimensions, and tolerances preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong technology aptitude, including use of scanners and warehouse software.
Experience leading a warehouse or materials management team in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work performed in both office and manufacturing environments.
Regular walking, standing, and climbing required; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
PPE (including steel-toed boots) required.
Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
