Job Summary

The GBS Change Office Lead will be responsible for orchestrating and delivering complex change initiatives within Unilever's Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role will drive the adoption of new processes, technologies, and operating models to enhance GBS effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring seamless transitions and sustainable improvements across the global GBS landscape.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive change management strategies for significant GBS transformations, including process re-engineering, technology implementations (e.g., ERP upgrades, automation tools), and organizational restructuring.
* Develop and implement robust communication plans to inform, engage, and influence stakeholders at all levels, from GBS leadership to frontline employees, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in for change initiatives.
* Design and deliver targeted training programs and materials to equip GBS employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new ways of working, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Conduct thorough change impact assessments to identify potential risks and resistance points, developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and maximize successful adoption.
* Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the progress and effectiveness of change initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to GBS leadership.
* Champion a change-ready culture within GBS, promoting agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindsets across all functions and geographies.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, functional leads, HR, and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of change management activities with overall project timelines and deliverables.
* Manage and mentor a team of change professionals (if applicable), fostering their development and ensuring the consistent application of change management best practices.
* Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization within the change management framework, continuously enhancing the efficiency and impact of the GBS Change Office.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in change management, organizational transformation, or project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex initiatives within a global organization.
* Extensive experience working within or closely with Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services environments.
* Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) and tools, with practical experience in their application. Certification in change management is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication and training plans.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
* Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
