This is a full time, hourly position
We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Ottawa location.
Job Responsibilities:
Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:
Load/unload trucks, railcars, barges
Operate heavy machinery (i.e – skidsteers, wheel loaders, forklifts)
Deckhand responsibilities
General housekeeping duties (i.e. – mowing, snow removal, site cleanup)
General maintenance
Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed
Operating equipment

Job Requirements:

- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights and above/near water, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Willing to work shift with variable start time, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
