About the Role:
As a Psychiatrist at Warrior ECP, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. Your expertise will contribute to improving patients' overall well-being through evidence-based psychiatric care and personalized treatment plans. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive behavioral health services are delivered effectively. This position demands a compassionate approach to crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, addressing both acute and chronic mental health challenges. Ultimately, your work will help empower patients to achieve better mental health outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Psychiatry.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Certification in Addictionology (ASAM) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
- Minimum of two years experience in addiction treatment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with clinical supervision and leadership roles within mental health services.
- Familiarity with integrated behavioral health care models and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Advanced certifications in psychotherapy modalities or counseling psychology.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telepsychiatry platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and counseling.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to mental health professionals and trainees within the care team.
- Respond promptly to psychiatric emergencies and crisis situations, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
- Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry and behavioral health to apply best practices in clinical settings.
