Supply Technician na Vali Incorporated

Position Summary:

A Supply Technician will manage and coordinate materials within a supply chain, which includes receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, maintaining inventory records using computerized systems, and assisting higher-level staff. Key responsibilities include processing requisitions, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring compliance with established supply policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments, and prepare and process orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems and conduct regular audits.
• Expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedules and coordinate with other departments and supervisors to determine material requirements.
• Compile reports on inventory status and supply issues and update applicable reports as required.
• Process requisitions and manage related documents, such as voucher register files.
• Provide guidance and training to lower-level supply personnel, such as stock clerks and warehouse specialists.
• Work within established supply regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper storage and handling of supplies and equipment.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in supply chain, inventory management, or related clerical/technical work is often required.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (GCSS-A) and supply chain procedures is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and possibly other specialized software is common.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is a typical minimum requirement.

• The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking is often required.
