Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Transport pallet goods and packages from a place of origin to assigned destination
• Communicate with lead and outside vendor on status of purchase orders and availability of deliveries and pick ups
• Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from a truck at selected destinations
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
• Track and report working hours
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 5+ years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
• Must have DOT medical card
• Experience driving a large company van or truck preferred
• Forklift experience 
• Clean driving record 
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a large vehicle
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
