Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience and preferably a background in glass cutting, tempering, or handling. This role is essential in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting production, and ensuring the safe movement and storage of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely
- Handle and transport glass sheets and related products with care
- Assist with glass cutting, tempering, and processing as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas
- Check incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and damage
- Support production teams with material prep and staging
- Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Glazing, Storefront/Curtainwall fabrication experience
- Experience working with glass (cutting, tempering, or installation) is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
