Northrop Grumman Corporate Office is seeking candidates for an Organizational Development Representative role to help drive the enterprise talent readiness strategy and executive-level succession management activities that are vital to our continued strong performance and long-term success.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Management, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Talent team, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to enhance leadership pipelines and ensure strategic talent planning. Candidates located in or near Falls Church, Virginia are preferred to support a consistent presence at the VACO headquarters office.

This position can be hired as a Level 3 or Level 4, depending upon the incumbent's education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Process Development and Execution:

Develop and operationalize talent strategy encompassing succession management and talent planning initiatives.

Enable talent readiness activities, including managing sensitive talent movement and development data.

Support evolution of succession management and talent readiness practices by leveraging emerging tools and technologies.

Develop training and resources related to support succession management capability building and accountability for managers.

Facilitate annual enterprise Organizational Leadership Review (OLR) process in partnership with sector Organizational Effectiveness (OE) teams.

Conduct benchmarking and industry research to stay ahead of talent management trends and identify innovative best practices.

System & Data Management:

Analyze data to identify talent gaps and track success measures of talent management activities.

Support development and delivery of clear, concise, and data-driven presentations.

Gain expertise in Workday’s succession management functionality including reporting, system testing, and troubleshooting.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience or Master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in Talent Management, Employee Development and/or HR Business Partner/Leader experience or related disciplines.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of experience or Master’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in Talent Management, Employee Development and/or HR Business Partner/Leader experience or related disciplines

Additional Basic Qualifications for both levels:

The candidate must have experience in leading projects, influencing/managing organizational change, and facilitating talent management processes including succession planning and development strategies.   

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or Human Resource Development

Certifications in Talent Management or Talent Development

Experience with Workday succession planning functionality or other talent management systems or software.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
