- Supports all activities associated with the development and construction of new renewable generation projects.
- Provides technical support for the development and execution of strategies to deliver sustainability solutions to customers.
- Assists with evaluation and due diligence on potential investments, acquisitions and other business evaluations and performs research.
- Develops and maintains reports, presentations, project schedules and plans, and tracks project financials, invoicing and development and construction status of projects.
- Analyze financial models; provide summary of information to development team on analysis.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Provide project assistance.
- Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy. Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.
- Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities. Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
- Attend work on a regular basis and support the company’s employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Qualifications
- Must be a college student, sophomore or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in engineering, business or related field.
- Prior utility or energy industry experience helpful but not required.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective project management skills.
- Effective analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer background check and drug screen.
