The Sr. Financial Systems Analyst will provide sustainment support for the Forecast and planning teams and applications within the Disney Experiences (DX).  This role will report the Manager, Financial Systems.

What You Will Do

• Perform monthly master data maintenance to align hierarchies with SAP, create alternate hierarchies

• Conduct comprehensive reconciliation or trend analysis of complex multi-dimensional datasets

• Manage ServiceNow tickets to provide end-user support across six instances, including report troubleshooting, addressing system and data issues, and handling access requests.

• Perform various Longview configurations to enable optimal user/reporting experience

• Serve as a Liaison between financial reporting teams and technical partners

• Reconcile Monthly Long-term forecasts and Plan with SAP BW and SAP EDP

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close reporting processes

• Effectively communicate with management and business partners system statuses, and operational updates

• Develop, test, and implement enhancements to processes in order to support data integrity or improve process efficiency  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of work experience with forecast and planning systems (Longview, Workday Financial Management, Cognos etc.)

• 5+ years of experience working with multi-dimensional data sets

• 2+ years of experience working with SAP S/4 HANA, BW and EDP reporting

• 5+ years of experience with complex financial models and allocations

• Must possess strong, detailed quantitative and analytical skills combined, including trend analysis, with proven business and financial savvy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to succinctly convey information across multiple levels of the organization

• Experience in financial operations, general ledgers, financial controls, consolidation and reconciliation, GAAP accounting, and SEC financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience developing Visual basic scripts and Macros

• Experience developing Power BI reporting

• Experience supporting multinational teams

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
