The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. Job Summary

The Coordinating Principal, under the direction of the Area Director, Desert/Mountain Operations (DMOPs), Student Services, is responsible for the administration of Special Education programs in DMOPs and Early Start Programs across San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS) Student Services programs. This individual will have direct supervision and oversight of DMOPs, Special Education related services, and Itinerant service providers and programs, including Early Start and Preschool Assessment Team providers and programs.

A valid California Driver’s License is required prior to the start of employment.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Possession of a valid California Clear Special Education Teaching or Services Credential -or- Five (5) years full time Special Education supervisory experience; - Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (COE) in Administrative Services.
