Responsibilities:

Margaritaville at Sea is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruiter to join our shoreside Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for both shipboard and shoreside positions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality and people. 

Essential Functions: 

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans: Create tailored strategies for both shipboard and shoreside roles, using industry insights and sourcing tools to attract top-tier talent aligned with the Margaritaville brand. 

• Collaborate with hiring managers: Partner with department leaders to assess staffing needs, define job specifications, and craft compelling job descriptions that reflect operational requirements and company culture. 

• Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates: Lead structured interviews and assessments to determine candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring alignment with company values and service standards. 

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: Oversee all stages of recruitment—from sourcing and screening to selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding—while ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience. 

• Maintain a proactive talent pipeline: Build and manage a database of qualified candidates through networking, events, and digital platforms to support current and future hiring needs. 

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies: Uphold legal and ethical standards throughout the recruitment process, maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to company and maritime regulations. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the maritime or hospitality industry. 

• Proven track record of successful talent acquisition for both shipboard and shoreside positions. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills 

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel: 25% 

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from the MVAS office in Orlando, Florida Monday through Friday each week. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Orlando area. This position also requires work in the evenings and weekends as necessary.
