Forward Bank in Lake City is seeking a sales-oriented Mortgage Lender for our Lake City market. The Mortgage Lender builds and fosters relationships with customers, bank staff, real estate professionals, contractors, and other community members to promote mortgage products and drive new business.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus additional training in banking, sales, or real estate
- 2 - 3 years of experience in mortgage lending or sales role is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of conventional mortgage loan products as well as other loan programs such as portfolio loan options, home equity lines of credit, and second mortgages. Must be familiar with mortgage underwriting approval process for secondary markets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
