• As a junior QA will be responsible for supporting the QA Team in ensuring the quality and functionality of all the websites through manual testing.
• This role involves collaborating with the Senior QA, developers, product manager, and other stakeholders to identify issues, perform the tests, and ensure the tickets and all the changes meet the requirements and specifications.

Core Tasks

• Execute manual UX flows, and test cases, analyze results, report, and track defects, verify fixes, and follow-up work to resolve issues on websites.
• Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate effectively with developers to ensure the timely resolution of planned tickets and identified problems.
• Create and maintain test cases from feature descriptions by product managers and discussions with developers.
• Ensuring each product release meets well-defined high-quality standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Basic knowledge of the different testing methodologies
• Familiar with QA tools and techniques
• Previous experience with WordPress sites
• Knowledge of testing at a frontend level using cross-browser platforms
• Attention to detail and working to the specs

Ideal PersonThe ideal candidate for the junior QA role is a motivated and detail-oriented person with a strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies. They should possess good technical skills, particularly in manual testing, and have a keen desire to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential, as we work fully remotely. Additionally, a proactive and adaptable approach to work, as well as a positive attitude, are key attributes for this role.3-month GoalBy the end of the third month, the junior QA should be comfortable with the Tech Pod products on an FE and BE level, QA process and tools, execute and document manual tests independently and contribute to the creation and maintenance of test cases.Benefits & Rewards
