Vitro Architectural Glass, the leading manufacturer of architectural and automotive glass in North America, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to oversee operations at our Oxygen Plant located in Wichita Falls, Texas. 

Our Wichita Falls facility specializes in the production of flat glass using the float process, serving key markets including automotive, trade, and mirror applications. As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance optimization of the Oxygen Plant, a critical component of our manufacturing infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production of gases to meet furnace demands and specifications.
• Ensure the Oxygen Plant runs within optimal parameters.
• Monitor control systems for continuous and safe operation.
• Review and approve daily operation logs, reports, and key performance indicators.
• Schedule and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of Oxygen Plant.
• Coordinate with other maintenance teams to minimize downtime and handle equipment failures quickly.
• Supervise air separation operators and maintenance personnel involved in the oxygen Plant. 
• Provide technical training and mentorship of maintenance team and operators.
• Optimize process efficiency.
• Track and analyze KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience. 
• 5 plus years of relevant experience or 9 plus years of experience without a degree. 
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, problem- solving, and maintenance planning.
• Effective communication at all levels of the organization.
• Planning and organization skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to coordinate activities between multiple groups, technical, engineering, and production.
