Patient Care Technician bei Eye Surgery Center of Tulsa

Eye Surgery Center of Tulsa is hiring a Full Time Patient Care Technician. ESCOT is a fast-paced ASC facility who prides themselves on providing high quality care and experiences for their patients. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. No holidays, weekends, or call. 

Job Description: 

Provide direct patient care by assisting healthcare team in obtaining vital signs, patient transport (as applicable), and preparing patients for designated procedures. 

Assisting with housekeeping duties as directed. 

Reporting non-working or malfunctioning equipment to the charge nurse. 

Providing a safe environment for the patient and healthcare team. 

Demonstrates an attitude that is caring, respectful, sensitive, tactful, compassionate, empathetic, and tolerant.

Uses proper cleaning techniques as specific in the policy and procedures and manufacturer’s instructions for use

Maintains flexibility and performs other duties as required

Ability to multi-task effectively, efficiently, accurately, and with attention to details

Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time, i.e., 6-8 hours per day

Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds in weight

Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Ability to read manufacturer’s instructions or instructions for use. 

High school graduate or equivalent

Current BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred. 

Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
