Responsibilities:

• Buffing, sanding, taping, priming, and painting as required for body shop repair jobs
• Visually detect and focus on imperfections, both close and at a distance, and identify variance in colors.
• Complete paint preparation, including color matching and mixing
• Complete minor repairs, including sanding and grinding

Maintain clean spray booth, prep area, and mixing room

• Sanding, masking, priming, and preparing vehicles for the paint process
• Complete paint application
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver’s License is required
• Must possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, technical skills, and functional skills
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other web-based programs
• Previous body shop paint and/or repair experience is preferred
• Possess an understanding of body fabrication and the ability to work with body fillers
• Must be able to understand how to properly use and maintain all equipment and materials used for painting
• Ability to operate all equipment/hand or power tools necessary for this position efficiently and safely
