Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist presso Quincy Medical Group

Location: Quincy, IL
Pay Range:

• Medical Lab Technician: $20.57 – $30.86 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
• Medical Technologist: $25.00 – $37.50 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience

Schedule: Flexible; typical hours are 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. (No holidays or weekends required)

About the Role

As a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician at Quincy Medical Group, you will perform essential laboratory tests that support diagnosis and treatment. You’ll collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate and reliable test results that directly impact patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

You will conduct routine laboratory testing including sample preparation and analysis, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment for accuracy, record and communicate results, and adhere to all regulatory, safety, and quality-control protocols to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Medical Technologist: Bachelor’s degree from a program approved for MT certification.
• Medical Lab Technician: Associate’s degree from a program accredited for MLT certification.
• ASCP certification required.
• One year of experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
