Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to assist with general facility maintenance, repairs, and yard work on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for someone with handyman experience who enjoys a variety of tasks and flexible scheduling.
Summary of Duties
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, raking, and snow removal (as needed)
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and occasional event or project support
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in safe, clean condition
- Respond to on-call requests for urgent maintenance needs

- Level of Interaction: Interacts with Production, Engineering and Procurement personnel.
- Schedule: Part-time, on-call; hours may vary depending on facility needs

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two to five years’ experience in the field.
Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman, or facilities work preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Ability to operate common hand and power tools safely
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical and/or Medical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk; reach; climb stairs; stoop; crouch; listen
- Vision capable of reading/viewing a computer screen
- Regularly lift to 25 lbs. and may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Desirable Qualifications - Three to Five (3 - 5) years experience in maintenance/facility management.
