Further tasks and responsibilities
Tender, negotiate and procure analytical services and direct materials
Draft, negotiate and finalize service and supply-agreements for corresponding categories
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and external laboratories to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service provision.
Support network procurement activities and act as first point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders
Develop and execute procurement concepts that require creative thinking and hands-on skills
Review and analyze continuously spend and savings developments; identify cost savings opportunities and execute improvement projects
Effectively manage supplier relationships, identify and manage service and supply risks
Strive improvement plans with suppliers on supply, cost and quality performance
Manage cross-functional and cross-regional SCM projects
What is important to us
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred
3-5 years’ procurement experience in a GMP/ Biopharmaceutical environment
In depth experience in procurement of external analytic services and production materials
Ability to develop and implement site specific procurement strategies
Very good knowledge of legal environment related to purchasing contracts and framework agreements
Excellent organizational, project management, communication (written and verbal) skills
Business fluent language skills (German and English)
Excellent knowledge in SAP and MS-Office
