Specialist, Accounts Payable (CORP) chez MODERN AVIATION INC

Description

As the successful candidate, you will –

Execute day-to-day duties includes but is not limited to receiving, reviewing and verifying invoices to be sure they comply with organizational policies and are approved for payment.  Enter invoice amounts into the accounting system and process check runs, wire transfers, or other payment types.  Respond to inquiries from vendors and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will  –

• Verify financial documents for payments, auditing, and tax purposes.
• Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payments.
• Code and enter payable invoices into the accounting system.
• Maintain records of outstanding payables.
• Monitor transactions effectively to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors.
• Research and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
• Provide other clerical support as necessary.

Qualifications

You will bring with you –

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)
• 1-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience required
• Familiarity with invoice processing and vendor management preferred
• Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, etc.)
• Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Business Central preferred
• Experience using SharePoint preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy

What can you expect the working conditions and physical demands for this role –  

• Constantly operates a computer and periodically move around the office to access office machinery, e.g., copy machine
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others understand

Modern Aviation Pay Range –

$20- $23/hr. + bonus + benefits.

The Modern Aviation pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
