Job Summary:
The individual in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Paint Department by ensuring all machines and equipment are being maintained properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep all parts to pump agitators, guns, pumps, hoses, and blades in stock and in proper working order
- Perform all preventive maintenance on belts, pumps, guns, and hoses, and general maintenance on machines
- Calibrate P-Mix system & check static mixers
- Grease rollers and do oven transfers
- Check all rollers for flippers and transfer carts
- Assist Plant Maintenance with any shutdown process for machines
- Rebuild air motors, pumps for the machines, and pump stations, and cleaning trays on the machine
- Install rebuild kits for back pressure regulations
- Order all necessary parts for the machines
- Coordinate with Plant Maintenance on the changing of sanding belts
- Assist in the New Finish Room for P-Mix
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of all proper processes as it relates to maintaining the proper conditions of all paint equipment
- Ability to use SAP to order parts
- Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to start up and shut down the machine.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other employees.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing, and time management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete those tasks promptly.
- Must be a self-starter who works well with others and can follow a list of daily work assignments
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of equivalent experience.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
