THE JOB:

As the VIP Lounge Assistant Manager at Bellagio, you’ll lead daily operations to ensure every guest receives an exceptional, memorable experience. From overseeing staff performance and training to maintaining service standards, financial accuracy, and property care, you’ll inspire your team to deliver excellence while stepping in for department leaders when needed. This role offers the chance to grow talent, resolve guest needs with professionalism, and uphold the luxury service that defines Bellagio.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assume full responsibility for the department in the absence of director or department head

  • Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolutions

  • Promote and develop team-oriented philosophy stressing the importance for providing unparalleled commitment to excellence in service

  • Oversee quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompasses the Company’s diversity commitment

  • Ensure department standards for correct charging, postings, collecting payments, handling cash and credit transactions, and balancing of all cash and cash equivalent transactions

  • Ensure hotel property and equipment is properly used and maintained

  • Supervise VIP Representatives work performance and apply progressive discipline when appropriate

  • Submit payroll for VIP staff and track attendance reports

  • Order supplies for the department as necessary


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in VIP Services, Front Desk, and/or Concierge required

  • Hotel Operations supervisory/managerial experience preferred
