Description

  

Accountable for the growth, administration, operation and management of assigned branch, personnel and goals. Contributes to the Bank’s growth strategies and goals through cross-functional collaboration, participation in sales management and direct business development initiatives. 


Essential Functions:

  • Sales Strategy & Performance: Partnering with Retail Sales Manager to develop and execute sales plans to achieve branch sales targets and increase market share. 
  • Team Leadership: Managing, Motivating, training, and mentoring assigned branch team to improve performance. 
  • Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities and participating in key community activities to increase Bank’s visibility, building strong customer relationships to drive revenue. 
  • Operational Management: Overseeing the daily operations of assigned branch, ensuring staff efficiency and adherence to assure team members are knowledgeable, competent, client-focused and sales oriented.
  • Financial  Oversight: Managing budgets and ensuring profitable growth across the assigned sales territory. 
  • Data Analysis: Monitoring market trends and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities and inform strategy. 
  • Marketing Collaboration: Working with management and marketing  teams to execute on various promotional campaigns. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all branch activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies. 
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

   

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Along with:
    • Five to 10 years of retail banking, business development or consumer relationship management with a strong sales       performance record
    • Minimum of three years in a leadership position in a financial institution with a concentration in retail and/or business       banking 
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to empathize, adapt to change and motivate a team in a cross-functional collaborative environment
  • Communications:  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Communicates confidently with clients,      superiors, peers and subordinates.
  • Product Knowledge: Keen knowledge of retail banking products and services with an ability to promote and cross-sell other bank services
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and internal team members
