Job Highlights
The Revenue & Receivables Administrator (“RMA”) is responsible for collecting, recording, and processing ticket purchases, contributions, pledges, and pledge payments from patrons in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
-
Record cash receipts, credit card payments, pledges, and refunds efficiently and accurately in Tessitura and prepare related general ledger journal entries in Financial Edge.

Ensure revenue transactions are recorded and classified correctly in compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting standards.

Manage patron accounts, including researching and resolving discrepancies, responding to patron inquiries, and updating patron information.

Manage the monthly accounts receivable close process, including reconciliation of AR subledger (Tessitura) to general ledger (Financial Edge) and preparation of AR month-end schedules.

Manage the monthly contributed revenue close process, including reconciliation of revenue subledger (Tessitura) to general ledger (Financial Edge) and preparation of revenue month-end schedules.

Assist with annual audit by providing information responsive to auditor requests.

Identify processes and improvements to facilitate accurate financial records.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and two years’ related experience (preferably in accounting or finance).

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles for revenue and receivables transactions required.

Experience managing a high volume of contributions and ticket transactions strongly preferred.

Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with CRMs and accounting software required (knowledge of Tessitura and/or Financial Edge a strong plus).

Eye for accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment are critical skills.

Occasional night and weekend work is required.
