Travel Required
Major/Essential Functions
- Monitor environmental control equipment, building automation systems, energy conservation programs, and property/life safety alarms for Texas Tech University facilities.
- Conduct data acquisition and prepare reports for department maintenance management programs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for campus customers reporting facility issues or requesting assistance during emergencies.
- Coordinate heating and air conditioning equipment schedules with facility usage to optimize energy conservation.
- Assist environmental systems maintenance technicians in troubleshooting computerized field unit energy management panel program discrepancies and HVAC equipment configuration errors.

- Experience as an emergency dispatcher or in a call center.
- Previous experience in an office environment.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
