Organization & Team Overview
The Town Hall Team is a collaborative team with a mission to help Comcast teams and external partners visualize, plan, and execute programs that inspire innovative ideas, deepen relationships, and drive our business forward. Our team organizes various employee events across the organization and comprises detailed event planners and dedicated producers. We support the events that happen in our 500-person amphitheater and biggest event space on campus, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum.

Role Description
Are you interested in events, planning, experiential activations, strategic management, marketing and communications, and a glimpse of behind-the-scenes production support? Do you like a fast-paced and highly motivated environment?
As an Engagement Co-Op on the Town Hall Team, you will have the opportunity to learn how to plan, produce, and execute a live event / production from industry leaders. You will support 10+ events/productions throughout your internship, ranging from internal meetings for our senior leadership, big company celebrations, marquee talent, advanced movie screenings from Universal Pictures, and more.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will have the opportunity to work, alongside the Town Hall Team, with some of the best and brightest at Comcast across all business units and organizations. You will also be exposed to fast-paced events/productions that require quick decision-making and high-pressure situations that will hone your ability to think decisively and creatively. In addition to Comcast team members, you will also have the chance to interact with external authors, entertainers, newsmakers, and politicians and collaborate with them and their teams to ensure a smooth event, production or experience.
Where can this student make an impact?
Pre-Event Support: Assisting the marketing and communications team with creating content to promote produced programs around campus. Meeting with clients and connecting with both partners and vendors to assist in event planning process. Review client assets and assist in the procurement of assets/content when needed. event assets can include PowerPoints, photos, videos, etc...
Event Support: Welcoming attendees, mic running, wrangling talent, escorting guests, and support other day of execution tasks.
Post-Event Support: Resetting the space, drafting thank you emails, and sharing the post-event survey with clients.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting all the needs of the Town Hall events team to ensure our clients, partners, and production team have a smooth, supported, seamless experience working with our team.
Assist with ongoing event planning and logistics, including client kick-off calls, client walk-throughs, regroup calls, asset reviews, speaker prep, rehearsal, etc.
Assist with wayfinding and ushering attendees to assigned or general seats.
Support the ideation and development of original employee programming promotional assets, including drafting event articles, developing internal social posts, and engaging with our employees.
Assist in developing proposals for immersive experiences and activations for select employee programs.
Review run of show (ROS), PowerPoints, videos, and other event assets to ensure deadlines are met alongside the Engagement team.
Lead client calls and event planning for at least 2 events during a co-op cycle.
Support internal marketing and strategic engagement efforts.
Preferred Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and beyond
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven role
Displays a positive and energetic attitude
Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to handle various tasks and responsibilities efficiently with an elevated level of quality
Ability to maintain confidential employee and organization information
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently
Ability to solve daily problems by analyzing situations, determining next steps, and implementing. Ability to comprehend and process information rapidly and accurately
Skills in effectively organizing work, files, records, etc., to maintain efficient workflow
Preferred Majors: Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, Gaming, Production, Human Resources, Talent Development
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
