Description
Currently, we’re looking for a purpose-driven Delivery Director that will play a strategic role in our Finance portfolio. We seek an inspiring leader for our talented experts of Engineering and Delivery Leads, who will be accountable for high-level portfolio management, business development and delivery strategy.
What will your tasks be as a Delivery Director? We divided them into four categories:
Strategy Planning & Execution
- Setting & executing delivery strategies for Finance portfolio to provide our clients with the best possible service and experience (with focus on the product & business value aspect of the proposed solutions).
- Co-creating & executing commercial strategy for a Finance vertical (offering, go-to-market, marketing & business activities, new account research & strategy management, and more).
Portfolio Management & Service Innovation
- Ensuring that project & product management standards and best practices are maintained across the portfolio.
- Being accountable for monitoring the delivering quality, profitability, team and client satisfaction on all accounts.
- Serving as the highest portfolio issues escalation point for both teams and clients.
- Actively identifying and removing portfolio-wide & cross-department bottlenecks within Delivery and beyond.
- Driving the continuous improvement of project & product management best practices, collaboration & productivity in line with company strategy & brand promises.
Business Development
- Being responsible for portfolio’s commercial success (revenue, growth rate, margin).
- Engaging actively in attracting new clients to Netguru (prospecting, participating at key sales meetings & events, contributing.
- Building and maintaining long term relationships with key customers from your portfolio & targeted markets.
- Identifying & contributing to potential sales and growth opportunities in your portfolio.
- Understanding and identifying key vertical trends and translating them into relevant business opportunities.
People Management
- Leading, building & coaching a team of Delivery Leads and Engineering Leads
- Securing a productive, effective and enjoyable environment for project teams in your portfolio.
Requirements
We want you onboard if you have relevant:
Experience:
- Proven track record and 5+ years of experience in leading technology programmes and/or portfolios (simultaneous delivery of multiple software projects).
- Hands-on experience in delivering digital projects (ideally enterprise software).
- Experience in working in a customer-facing environment; preferably with a finance professional services background or finance client portfolio.
- Experience with working with clients throughout all stages of their journey (from prospecting to expanding the relationship).
- Track record of building delivery excellence and a brand that attracts talent & clients to the organisation.
- Track record in introducing company-wide initiatives and structures supported by excellent change management skills".
- Engineering background would be a big asset.
Skills:
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Strong team management techniques, particularly around portfolio health, when to intervene, and ensuring quality.
- Broad business and technology understanding, a good awareness of industry trends and ability to translate them into relevant strategies.
- Strong networking skills: ability to build relationships (prospects, clients, employees).
- Ability to communicate big ideas to varied audiences throughout the organization (across engineering, product and business teams).
- Ability to execute & delegate in a complex & multi-level stakeholder environment.

Salary range:
Salary starting from:
- B2B: 20,600 PLN + VAT
- UoP: 17,200 PLN gross
On top of that: bonus + stock options plan.
