About the job

As a software developer associate on the Property Break/Fix & Recovery team, you’ll gain exposure to the various platforms and systems associated with the Progressive Property Products. You’ll work with our business partners on researching and resolving problems that directly impact Progressive’s profitability and position in the marketplace. Our team provides developers the opportunity to gain experience in our IT processes, and to grow their career within Personal Lines IT.This is a remote position for US-based work only.Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program.
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of two years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity of with .NET, C#, Web APIs, and SQL Server
  • Exposure to Scrum or other Agile software development methodology
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Compensation
  • $75,000-$80,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
