Description
OBJECTIVE:
The Extrusion Production Technician is responsible for prepping and operating machinery used to produce plastic profile products in a manufacturing environment. Key functions include determining the proper forms, lengths, and diameters for production, prepping extruding machinery, sorting materials, and operating equipment. Technicians must also install, connect, test, and adjust equipment as needed.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:
$1.25/HR for the third shift position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the manufacturing environment and job sites can be loud. The manufacturing work environment is not temperature-controlled controlled and the employee may be exposed to high-heat work conditions.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
