We are looking for an individual that has a passion for producing high quality and detailed work.  The Fabrication Specialist will enjoy following well-defined procedures that result in high-quality world-class products for Britten’s customers.  This person will thrive in a collaborative work environment while assisting with the efficient operations of the digital printing equipment.

• Act as support staff to the Fabrication Manager 
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area 
• Operating cutting machinery
• Feeding/catching materials during press operation
• Complete multi-shipment kit pack projects
• Operating sewing machine
• Packaging
• Observing prin
  t quality to assure customer satisfaction
• Learning and operating forklifts in a safe manner 
• Upholding all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time
• Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
• Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
• Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level
• Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
• Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
