Salary: $55,000

  • The Benefits Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that our employees have the best possible experience with the benefits we offer. They are responsible for coordinating HR initiatives that support our strategic business goals, with a particular focus on benefits. Their main objective is to foster open communication and positive relationships with our employees, while also identifying and implementing new opportunities for enhancing our benefits package.

  Your Daily Focus:  

  • Administers a wide range of employee benefits, such as group health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as accident and disability coverage, life insurance, 401(k) plans, FMLA, wellness programs, and other additional benefits.
  • Lead the charge of our Annual Wellness Screenings and ensure that all employees have the information needed.
  • Responsible for making sure everyone is well-informed about our amazing benefit programs by helping employees navigate the enrollment process and communicating updates, changes, or new opportunities that may arise in the benefits space.
  • Collaborates closely with our Insurance Broker to ensure that our benefit administration is accurately reported and compliant with all regulatory standards.
  • Help employees with any health, dental, life, or other related benefit claims, questions, or enrollment guidance they may have.
  • Gather important statistics and information to ensure the smooth renewal process of health, life, and retirement plans that greatly benefit both our incredible employees and the company
  • Managing employee and company information in relation to benefit programs. Also, helping with the payroll process regarding benefit deductions as needed.

 What Catches our Attention:   

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or a business-related field, or those with two or more years of experience in HR or related fields.
  • Knowledge of HR Generalist functions is also desirable.
  • A motivated and independent individual who takes initiative and can easily adjust to changing situations, while also being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Clear and concise communications skills: interpersonal, written and verbal.
  • A result-driven individual who is seeking, not only employment, but also the opportunity to create meaningful impact.

Physical Demands and Work Environment (per ADA guidelines):

  • Physical Ability to manipulate items with hands or fingers 
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary work.
  • Staff members are required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
