Role and Responsibilities

  • Business Target Setting & Performance Evaluation
    • Manage the goal setting process to maximize business competitiveness and profits
    • Measure and evaluate goal achievement based on objective evaluation indices. Provide direction to organizations to improve performance and establish an efficient strategy to achieve business goals
    • Develop and institutionalize business cadence to review performance and take action related to financial performance, demand planning, and business risks and opportunities to better align plans with financial objectives
  • Business Issue Identification & Risk Management
    • Check the major issues of the business and establish counterplans, or assist the management in effective decision-making by recognizing potential business risks beforehand
    • Review various factors among sub-organizations, performance and weakness comparison, inefficiency, and decreased competitiveness and create measures to improve performance
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
    • Consistently identify customer issues and market trends, determine impact to the business, and develop measures to address these concerns
    • Develop real-time insights on market trends, shifts in sales behaviors, new category entrants, to generate actionable reporting
    • Conduct ad hoc research on key market changes, competitive and customer moves (e.g., key announcements, intelligence)
  • Integrated Operations Analysis & Reporting
    • Gather, analyze, report on key market performance, carrier strategy, competition and sales data to provide actionable strategies and insights to Senior Leadership
    • Lead the management of sales reporting and analysis across the Mobile organization.
    • Manage the development and maintenance of sales dashboards, sales KPIs, and early warning reports.s
  • Strategic Initiatives and Tasks Management
    • Track and manage various strategic initiatives, key tasks and requests in a systematic manner
    • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to track down key tasks and activities, and provide periodic progress updates.
    • Provide progress updates to key stakeholders
  • Cross-functional Project / Process Management
    • Lead the coordination and operation of cross-functional initiatives and projects to address specific business needs.
    • Develop key narratives and build project plans to organize, track and manage the projects throughout the year.
    • Conduct post-mortems to enhance future project outcomes

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or SCM with 8+ years of relevant experience in TMT (technology, media, telecommunications)
  • 5+ yrs. of business strategy and/or business planning experience, with heavy focus on consumer technology business, marketing, project management, and business transformation
  • Proficiency in the Korean language is mandatory
  • Strong quantitative skills and business acumen to understand the state of the business and drill down to identify solution paths to grow the online channel business and shares
  • Ability to lead complex projects and work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to efficiently scope and execute concrete strategic initiatives
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to think methodically, formulate insights, and present compelling cases for action
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and establishing effective working relationships with executives in varied areas, including global HQ counterparts
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker who can turn strategic objectives into practical actions
  • High energy, works with a strong sense of urgency, highly responsive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with various data management and reporting tools (i.e., Tableau or similar tools)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Expertise in developing business strategy, marketing, and sales presentations, using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA and 6+ years of relevant experience
