Accounts Receivable Clerk en Knife River NW

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Reconciling plant daily cash summary reports and posting deposits
• Processing customer refunds
• Generating invoices, statements and adjustments to prior billings
• Researching and resolving customer account receivable issues
• Preparing and collecting documentation for audit requests
• Scanning and filing
• Other department duties as needed

Minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with one to two years of experience in accounting / data entry
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with JD Edwards accounting system is a plus
• Computerized data entry, 10 key adding machine and filing skills required
• Must be able to work in a confidential environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work and be flexible to changing work priorities
• Ability to work well with others, including customers and company team members in a positive, professional manner
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and a drug screen
• Accounts receivable experience preferred
