Under the direction of the IT Director, the Manager of Security and Infrastructure is responsible for all aspects of data network and communications infrastructure utilized by CFS Brands and supported facilities. This position will function as a technical, engineering, and operational subject matter expert as it relates to enterprise network and security technology. This includes participating in project planning, designing, capacity projections, hands-on implementation, complex integration work, security assessment, hardening of configurations, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading, and defining policy/procedure for all LAN/WAN infrastructure in use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Guide and supervise staff assigned to work on infrastructure and security operations and provide technical assistance when necessary.
- Evaluate existing systems and providing technical direction to IT personnel
- Plan, manage and schedule the CFS Brands infrastructure and security systems and procedures to improve utilization or propose revision(s) of infrastructure operations.
- Provide management of technology initiatives including creating comprehensive plans for achieving infrastructure project objectives.
- Establish processes for the configuration, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and security management tools
- Communicate with personnel from a variety of departments including staff, various vendors, and department leadership to exchange information concerning security.
- Apply a security framework and ensure compliance from the business, vendors, and contractors.
- Develop infrastructure support and project budgets.
- Represent security and infrastructure needs during any Acquisition and Divestiture activity.
- Recommend enhancements to the infrastructure operations.
- Monitor compliance with applicable internal and external security and data protection policies.
- Monitor compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate and champion the cybersecurity training program
- Perform complex tasks on critical infrastructure upgrades, security projects, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Design, implement and monitor network activities, devices, uptime, on all security platforms.
- Travel to local sites and occasionally travel to remote sites in support of corporate initiatives.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in computer information sciences, Technology Management, Information Systems, Business, or Leadership from an accredited college or university
- OR
- CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional), CISM (ISACA Certified Information Security Manager), or CISA (ISACA Certified Information Security Auditor), or like certification.
- Five years of increasing responsibility in supporting/managing complex networked systems and IT security.
- Two or more years in a supervisory or management capacity with direct subordinates related to computer information systems/science is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users in a friendly, professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Advanced skill in information technology security associated with:
- Security frameworks
- Internet and network services
- IT operations
- User access and authentication
- Security within software applications
- Basic computer programming
Travel Required:
- Up to 20% travel to support multiple operating locations and corporate initiatives across the US and Mexico, with potential travel to Europe.
