A lovely family located on the border of Essex and Passaic counties is seeking a full-time nanny for their 5-month-old, starting mid to late November 2025. Care will be needed Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM through August 2026, with the possibility to extend. Their baby is active, loves music, and currently enjoys contact naps—though mom is in the process of transitioning from this. The ideal candidate will be engaging, attentive, and reliable, with a strong understanding of infant care and development.

- Compensation: $21–$22 per hour
Responsibilities
- Bottle and solid food feeding (as age-appropriate)
- Cleaning bottles and feeding supplies
- Diaper changes
- Light housekeeping related to the child
- Baby’s laundry
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional infant care experience
- CPR certified, or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully pass a background and social media screening
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $21-$22 per hour, and the family is looking for 40 hours of care per week.
- Guaranteed 32 hours, typically 40 hours per week as needed
- Additional benefits to be discussed further upon contract
