The RH Creative Production team is a world-class infrastructure of asset managers, production artists, image retouchers, and circulation planners dedicated to producing peerless print and digital assets. RH is seeking a Production Director, Retouching to lead end-to-end production and trafficking of creative assets across digital and print platforms. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a natural leader and creative thinker, highly organized, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented. A strong communicator and collaborator, this individual brings clarity to complexity, drives cross-functional alignment, and champions precision, process, and pace.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and refine production workflows to deliver world-class content on time, on budget, and in alignment with RH standards
- Oversee all aspects of content post-production, including scheduling, trafficking, asset tracking, and final delivery across digital and print platforms
- Build, manage, and mentor in-house and external production teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Develop and implement timelines, tools and processes that streamline production operations and optimize digital and print production efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business objectives into actionable, creative production strategies
- Establish and uphold best-in-class standards for quality, consistency, and productivity across all retouching output
- Create and evolve onboarding, training, and performance programs that ensure operational consistency and uphold RH’s creative integrity
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that streamline creative operations, eliminate production barriers and elevate output
- Ensure adherence to current retouching workflows while proactively identifying opportunities for process innovation and tool enhancements
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience leading high-volume retouching or production operations; luxury retail or e-commerce experience strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and digital production workflows, with a sharp eye for visual detail and design integrity
- Proven success managing teams and external vendors in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong project management capabilities with an understanding of creative development, digital design and content production processes
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across creative, technical and executive teams
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong time management and a high of ownership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent sitting or standing at a computer workstation for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands and wrists for keyboarding, mouse use, and digital editing tasks
- Occasional lifting, moving, or carrying of items up to 20 pounds
- Visually review and assess high-resolution digital imagery with accuracy and attention to detail
- Periodic travel to support various business needs
