The position is the driving force behind our steel production and sign erection operations.  The incumbent will lead and inspire the Shop Foreman and Crew Manager, ensuring seamless coordination from fabrication to field installation.  The mission is to deliver high-quality projects on time, within budget, and above expectations.

• Lead and mentor shop and field managers to maximize performance and safety.
• Oversee production schedules, inventory, and project timelines.
• Champion a safety-first culture and enforce OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and keep projects moving.
• Collaborate across teams to eliminate bottlenecks and boost efficiency.
• Report directly to the General Manager of Steel.

Requirements

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in production management within steel fabrication, sign manufacturing, or construction.
• Proven success in leading teams, managing budgets, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, crane operations, and sign erection.
• Familiarity with scheduling and inventory management systems.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
