The Connected Experiences (CXP) team at Workday is reimagining the employee experience, making it simpler and faster for people to get things done at work. About the Role
Lead and mentor a high-performing product team to drive AI innovation and alignment with company goals.
Drive product vision, oversee roadmap development, and expand our product line as part of the executive team.
Lead product strategy by championing a human-centered design approach, embedding UX research, design thinking, and customer empathy into every stage of the product lifecycle
Productize implementation and delivery of AI to scale and ensure value to clients at great speed and lower costs while ensuring quality.
Support ethical AI and compliant-by-design and safe AIsolutions.
Maintain close client relationships, conduct market research, and collaborate cross-functionally to gather feedback and ensure product success.
Develop go-to-market strategies, monitor product adoption, and make data-driven decisions to maximize ROI and drive continuous improvement.
As a senior leader in the organization, this leader needs to understand all the dynamics that impact the business, whether commercial, go-to-market, or other. They should understand the space and trends, be able to make timely decisions, and ensure there is clear communication. They must also have good ambiguity and frustration tolerance, establish trust-based relationships with peers and stakeholders, and be able to be a spokesperson for the product, building and nurturing relationships with key customers.
Hire, mentor, manage, and build a first-class team.
Engage and align with key stakeholders on product strategy and roadmaps, gain buy-in,, manage communications, expectations, and dependencies.
Lead your cross-functional team’s operational execution by setting OKRs and metrics to help target the impact of your organization’s efforts to provide customer value.
Work closely with existing and prospective customers to instill confidence in our company's vision, roadmap, and ability to execute.
Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs and use cases, support sales opportunities, and ensure product success in the market.
Partner with the go-to-market teams by providing guidance and assistance with sales, services, and customers, as needed.
Represent the product strategy in executive forums, customer briefings, and cross-functional planning conversations.
Prepare clear, concise briefings and materials that support high-stakes decisions and executive discussions.
About You
15+ years experience in a combination of product management, software engineering, product design, or an equivalent field.
Proven track record of shipping exceptional, user-centered products that have achieved significant market adoption and customer satisfaction.
5+ years of AI product and incubation experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with senior executives, customers, and engineering leaders.
Additional Qualifications
Proven track record of driving strategy and leading without direct ownership, working across teams to influence direction and outcomes.
Excellent communicator who can distill complexity and influence across executives, peers, and cross-functional teams.
Strategic, analytical, and operationally minded. You’re comfortable shifting from vision to details and back.
Passionate about user experience. You don't just care about what the product does, but how it makes users feel and the ease with which they accomplish their goals.
Skilled at navigating ambiguity and helping teams stay focused and aligned.
Known for your drive and bias for action.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
